At the end of the forum is a app that Mysh(a Esato & Howardforums member) wrote, and a continous discussion about improvements for it. In the end I think it will support a few phones. So far the w800i, w810i, and the w900i is supported. Let me know how it goes...maybe you can learn something new and in turn help those with the same model phone as you to do the video thing. I have watched 2 movies and an hour and a half of battlestar galactica on my phone...I have had this phone for 10 days....it is SO cool!

Thanks for this. A couple of questions:
1. How do I convert from an original DVD using this software? Do I have to rip the DVD to uncompressed AVI? If so, what's the best free software for this?
2. Will it produce something which will run on a K750?
3. Is the output better than that from Nero Recode 2, using the tutorial at spawnweb.dk?
Thanks for any help.

I wouldn't do it as an uncompressed avi as unless you have 200gb of free hd space you probably wouldn't fit a film on your hd. I would first convert the DVD to divx avi before then re encoding it to mp4.

Indeed, but Nero Recode will let you encode directly from the non encrypted DVD to high quality compatible mp4 for your K700, K750, W800, W900 (or from an encrypted dvd if anydvd is running)
Just as easy as converting any normal file using the guide from spawnweb.dk
no need for timeconsuming, quality loosing conversions in between.
Just use Nero Recode, no need to ever search for any other way of converting. Nero Recode also converts to Ipod, PSP, WindowsMobile, as well as DVD movies to Nero Digital instead of Divx, or transcoding a full dvd9 to dvd-r
Its simple, high quality, fully configurable, and works every single time, I dont understand why so many keep looking for other sollutions.
