My friend has just given me his W800i's Sandisk 512mb card. The card stopped working in his phone on R1N035 firmware, and still wont work on his up to date R1A firmware (Orange branded latest firmware). It stopped the phone starting up when the memory stick was inserted.
Ive put his card in my K750, in my PSP, card reader and digital camera. none of them can detect the stick as inserted and so will not format it.
Ive heard there is a solution to this, but i cant for the life of me find it in the Esato search function (since its useless).
Anyone got a fix ?

this famous problem to be fixed only by exchanging memory card in SE service center on a new one. They must do it for free.
