ok im a bit of a newbie, just need some quick help. ive just bought a 8570i on the orange uk network. its branded with the orange network software. anyway i want to unlock and debrand it. i have ordered a cable to unlock it from this site (link below). is this the correct cable?

also i want to debrand the phone. now heres where im confused. all i want is the phone to be unbranded, i dont care about any other advanced options, settings, converting to w800 etc etc. i already have sonics 1120 cracked. but i was wandering what firmware i need. i have managed to get this firmware (K750_R1BC002_FS_EU2.BIN) is this correct, bear in mind that my k750i is a "RED" model and is "CID 36". would the firmware i have work with sonics and be compatible with my phone??? if not what do i need??

this link otherwsie go to the website) and the correct firmware files:
K750 R1BC002 MAIN EU EMEA
K750 R1BC002 FS EU1
And flash them to the phone. But befre you do make a backup of the GDFS and re-write that after the flash.

ok i managed to get hold of the two files you said from elsewhere. the filenames are
K750_R1BC002_FS_EU1.DVT
K750_R1BC002_MAIN_EU_EMEA.DVT
also sorry to be a pain but how do i use semctool. which option do i use, AVR, ARM????
finally does unlocking my phone invalidate the warranty?? i know unbranding does but will unlocking invalidate it as well
