there was a detailed thread on esato with directions on using a k700 as a webcam. You might need to search a bit..but its there somewhere.. Im guessing that the technique should work for a k750 This message was posted from a Nokia

Before dreaming more about webcam please make this simple test:

Take a photo with your K750. Take another photo, this time with +2.0 setting on exposure compensation (Brightness). If you like photos which have got 400% exposure then by all means K700Webcam is something for you.

The developer of this software has dropped this project. His own forum is now labeled as "Un[Classified] Newsboard".

Logo used to be this:

Today like this:

I wrote about this overexposure problem to him on his forum as well direct email on 21st January, but never got any answer. How come a software developer can mix and mess White balance and Exposure compensation. Basic photo terms should be familiar before starting such a task as K700Webcam, IMHO.

Besides overexposure, which happens every time, there is also occasional problem concerning the deletion of files from K750: sometimes K750 do require Accept for the deletion, sometimes every time, sometimes just once, sometimes not at all - without changing settings...

I just noticed it's no more possible to access the download page either (K700 on menu):

hey, k700 webcam software works fine on K700. funny that, being the same model as the software was designed for. no need to diss the author of this program, esp. since they are the first and only person to actually supply such a product, free, that works as claimed for the device designed for. Yeah, well. But this Thread is "can k750i use like a webcam?" And you have K700. IMHO it's fair to know that no further support seems to be available for us K750 owners - unfortunately.

EDIT: If anyone with K750/W800 wants to try out this software, look for version 1.7.0 or later. Older ones won't support your mobile.

EDIT:
For COM port settings (BT/USB) you probably need this handy software, SetupCOM:

I have made a short illustrated guidance how to use SetupCOM for K700Webcam: http://tinyurl.com/l2fce

EDIT
Now that K700 download page is in working order, the rapidshare files are deleted.
