Hey all, Im from UK. Yesterday Orange-UK delivered my new w810i.
Great!
Unpacked, and started using this phone. Really pleased with it however the vibrate doesn't work.
Well I was customising profiles yesterday and selected 'vibrate' to 'on' and it gave me a little vibrate to confim this. However that was the only time it has ever vibrated, it won't when anyone rings etc even if it's on silent and the profile clearly denotes it will.
Even when I go to change the option to off then back on it doesn't give a small vibrate to confim this.
I did a master reset and still the same.
A: I should phone orange and get it sorted but this is major hassle as I have only had the phone for one day and can't really be phoneless.
B: This shouldn't be happening. IT's a day OLD!
C: Everything else works great!
D: it will take at least 14 days for them to sort this!
EDIT: Also tried to update from SEUS but it didn't find any new updates, Im nn RFC002 or something similar (going from memory) and I dont really wanna be paying davinci team for a reflash !
Do you guys have any info or similar experiences...am I missing something stupid?

You can access the service menu to test all the functions of the w810i including the vibrate function:
Using the center navigation ring do this:
>*
(right * left, left * left*)
This wil display your Model info, Service Info, Sim Lock and the service test feature you need to test the functions of w810i

If it's not working orange should exchange it, when i did this they sent someone with a new handset and i handed back the old one when he gave me the new one, no need to be without a phone.
