@jcwhite_uk

Tomtom mobile 5 works great on a p910i/c/a (or unofficially on a p900 /p800) and the site even supports it click here .

@Iyad

Have you read the statement about the compatibilty of phones?

In some cases it might be necessary to set up the connection manually. For instructions, visit our Support section.

I sometimes get confused as to whether Tomtom actually want to sell their product. Five week delivery, terrible customer service (never answered my emails ref. P910 compatibility).
Are we saying that the same version works for S60, S80, S90 and UIQ? The website seems to suggest that. Tomtom won't answer my question via email, so I figure that i'll ask here

TomTom replied to me by say that the 910 is not compatible with the SE P910i however I should keep an eye on their website for future updates. I have no idea why SE P910 was working with TomTom 300 which I had before, and now with the new 910 it does not.

Tomtom v 5.21 works on a p910i fine.

You can use the new plus maps with it. You do need to have the right tomtom version for p910i which is the UIQ version, the nokia Sxx versions will not run. But you can use the same maps and POI's. To get tomtom working you will need to buy a bluetooth GPS device that is compatible with both tomtom and p910i.

You will then need to install the UIQ version of tomtom on the p910i and insert the activation code which can be purchased off tomtom. You can then download the maps from the internet or buy them from tomtom, if you want to get the plus maps working without activation a trick is to upload the canary island map to your phone aswell as the great britain plus map and when it asks you which map you wish to use select GB and the activation code is bypassed.

I assure you that tomtom is possible on p910i and works reasonably well so long as you dont load to many POI files or the program slows right down. Also remeber to terminate the program with sMan at the end as it sucks your ram and battery power like a bitch.
