I assume by now that many have seen the new windows media player 11 beta but just in case...
here 'tis
It takes its design cues from Vista and I actually quite like layouts in the various sections such as album, artist etc

i got this about a week ago but had problems with it, i kept getting the error message which says that the program has to close down. anybody else had the problem, really dissapointed as it looks great!

That's why its in Beta. Guys like you install it, find fault with it, report back to MS with details of the fault, MS fixit until no more faults then finally it gets released.
Thats why whenever an application crash and you get that box asking if you want to send an error report to MS, say yes and send that report. trust me, it gets looked at and used to create patches and hotfixes.
