> Question about Updating Firmware SE w810i

Hello,
I own a SE w810i which I bought from HK a couple weeks ago. The phone is already unlocked and hence I can use it here in Canada. I'd like to update my firmware via th Sony Ericson Update service on my PC. Since I don't have much knowledge on how it works, I'd like to know: Will updating my firmware lock up my phone? and thus require me to unlock?
