Hi, yeah basically there's a problem with my p900 microphone, it seems that when i speak, the other person can't hear me. I know it is not because i have my hand on the mic hole, it is something else. I used the handsfree on it and that works. WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM? plz help

Let's start with the easy stuff first. Power down the phone and take the batt. out. Wait two minutes, then reinsert and switch back on.

If that doesn't work, it's probably that there is dust or something inside the phone, or the little connectors on the microphone have become bent downwards and not making a proper contact with the phone. If you feel confident enough to do it, take the phone apart and give the internals a good clean (make sure you disconnect the data ribbon going to the jog dial, rip that and the jog dial won't work!) and carefully bend back up the connectors on the microphone with something like a small screwdriver or fingernail.

This should do the trick, I've fixed many a phone with this fault by doing this, I've only ever had to replace one microphone, and that was because someone had stabbed it with a pin in a vain attempt to make it work!

Edit: If you don't feel confident enough to do this, take it to a repair shop or to an service centre, it shouldn't cost too much to rectify
