> screensavers problem ( newbie)

hiya guys ,sorry and gals
just got the t68i upgraded from the samsung t100 which was pretty straight forward to personalise but the t68i is giving me a headache,
when i install any animated .gif as as a screensaver and it activates the last frame remains on and keeps the phone lights all on, not good for battery life, how do i change this so it shows the screensaver and then goes to that silly clock. inbuilt savers work fine, does the saver have to be something else apart from a .gif,
thank for any help in advance... also great forum ...

try using a smaller screensaver the bigger they are the slower they get
