I'm interested what messaging software do you use and why?

FMA and My Phone Explorer both do this and they're nice free apps. When it can send/receive MMS, then I might be interested.

The ONLY functionality currently lacking from SE phones (as well as most others) is threaded SMSing - where as your SMS becomes like an AOL chat, so that you can see the back and forth conversation with whoever you're sending message to. Palm Treo's have this and it is very handy. My buddy can look back since he got his phone and see SMS I sent him, and his responses all on one screen.
