Laffen or a Mod... Is it not possible that there can be a vid thread which is moderatted. I understand your worry about the content in the other thread but there is a huge number of clips available, especially now the World Cup is almost upon us, there will be huge demand for clips etc.

I would suggest a video sub-forum if there is such a demand for content. This way each video can have their own thread, making it easier to navigate, as well as being easier for mods to remove copyrighted material.

That was my favourite thread. I got most of my mp4 music vids from there and now it is gone buhuu . But I understand why laffen removed it. Esato needs to stay open. One lawsuite from the school yard bully movie industrie could wipeout esato in a heartbeat. That would be worse than loosing a thread.

I'm 100% certain that no one has said there cannot be a video thread with non copyright material being posted.

We have games threads that link to freeware etc so its no different for videos.

For the topic in question though, you just need to be sure of where these world clup clips are coming from

edit: btw, it shouldn't need to be moderated either, members should be responsible for what they post

Imo its better not to make public such links. Who knows where those are from, which is free or not etc why to play with the fire, there are enough other sites to get such clips from. This message was posted from a K750
