well i mean, the video app that follows the phone sucks (low resolutions, low bitrates and more) but is tcpmp any better?? can it handles higher bitrates??

I think TCPMP is way better than the built-in video player.I just don't know on the p910 side,But I've been using it on my P800 and I must say that according to me there's no player better than TCPMP!
I believe if it works fine on P800 it should be fine on P910,considering that P910 has more colours than the P800.I have ditched Smartmovie on my phone for TCPMP although I still use Smartmovie to convert the vids and play them with TCPMP!

@jmash
How is TCPMP better than SmartMovie? Does it allow you play movies at closer to 24fps? I have to drop to 12.5fps which is the only thing that really stops me enjoying movies on my P910i

Oh and where did you get the UIQ version, are you a beta tester?

I've been using a paid-for Smartmovie for over a year but have just discovered TCPMP - IMHO it's way better than smartmovie - better framerate, smoother playback, no waiting ages to skip to a point in the film. OK, the interface is nowhere near as detailed but I haven't used SM since I installed TCPMP.

Matt69 - have you installed the latest Smartmovie? - it was updated recently & I find it a great improvement...

With version 3.10 and above, SmartMovie is using the same CoreMP4 codec as TCPMP Hence the quality is the same. Now we can all watch movies and video clips at full 24fps using 320 x 208 landscape mode.

im using motorola a1000 and have used the p900 b4 and i have to say im impressed with tcpmp for not only does it play avi files which i encode with virtualdub-both freeware and one of the best at their jobs-but it still leaves any competition trailing behind by its additional support for mpeg/mpg 1 and mpeg 4 files(2 not yet supported)plus its support for mp3 files and to top it all off its still only the beta version and whilst playing files runs smoothly even whilst minimized-tho not entirely bug free as it might freeze when u try to sdkip files too quickly something which i think i can live with by slowing down it is for me the best thing out there as the picture quality is now crisp and very clear and the sound very good and to top it all off the avi files made using virtualdub are also much smaller taking less memory
