easy.

1.think of a four digit passcode that you will remember. type it in and confirm.

2. then type in a memorable word that you might need to remember. e.g passwords for computers etc.

3. then you can add as many codes/passwords as you want.

4. nobody else will be able to access these unless they input the correct four digit passcode at the beginning.

5. if they enter the wrong code they will be shown a completely random memorable word and other codes. but they are not the ones you entered. this, i'm guessing is to make thieves think they have the real ones. pretty clever.

6. after you exit. each time you wish to return you will need to enter the four digit code.

i find this tool really useful as you can store all your secret stuff there. just do not tell any one your four digit code.

can you give an example what does the above means?

3. yep. you can add your credit card pin number or bank account details. really you can add anything that you want kept secret. you can even put in other girls numbers so the wife can't find out. not that i'm married. it is really useful. as long as you remember your four digit code nothing can go wrong. i hope.

Sadly limited to 10 codes max. Otherwise this would be completely awesome.

Random fact for you: Myself and a lot of my actor friends use Code Memo to keep measurements for when they need to fill out casting forms - very handy!

A ants21uk has said anybody putting in the wrong code will get a randomnly generated memorable word - usually gibberish. Thus if you memorable word is recognisable, say a persons name, then it is fairly clear that they have hit the right code. So probably better that your own memorable word is also gibberish - but known to you.

I find it useful for holding credit card numbers for times when I need to make an internet purchase, but my wallet is in my car.

Or times when I need to login to my internet banking site, but don't want to rifle through files to find an old statement with my code on it!

Heres how u can have multiple codes:( The passcodes i have mentioned below are the codes which u enter to enter the code memo. The numbers/passwords are the things u want to keep secret)

First enter a passcode and save any number, password that u want.
Exit and enter again this time entering a wrong passcode(Whatever u want but remember it). You will find that that the no/passwords u entered at the first time are all different. Now save a new number or password. Now if u enter with your old passcode the numbers which u saved earlier are correctly shown but the numbers u saved with the second passcode are gibberish. Now if u enter with your second passcode your first no will be gibberish but the second number will be correctly shown. Like this u can have many passcodes for different things. I have 4 or so.
Hope its clear.
