Anybody know if these retail outlets are "authorized" sellers? I wouldn't want to be buying a fake card.

Well it looks like serious sellers so i think its not a fake. The fake is the price, cause i clicked over the lowest price and then poped up a window showing me the mem stick, (a sandisk), but the cost was $299 and it didnt even was on stock, as it said in the other page.

Initially it said 299, but I clicked on it and it went to new page at 160 and then I went to checkout and it was still 160. didn't buy it though, still waitin for them to drop a little more

You're right, but we would have to wait till someone esle buy it and tell us if it was true or not, i think it is but anyway i'm gonna wait till fall to buy one for my w800, i think by that time those are gonna completely stablished and with a lower price, or well, at least with the real price cause with some official e-stores selling it for $299 and others for $159 i wouldnt know what believe.

that raises an interesting question. How can we tell if an online store is an "official" reseller? the one thing about buying online is that you can usually get a refund or replacement much easier or more reliably than an ebay seller. But i'm curious as to find out if large online stores like Amazon and Buy.com are "official" sellers

I´ve looked out using google, and saw 4gb and 8gb mem stick duo from Sony, but it will be release for sale in november/december.
But nobody has any idea about the prices...

me too... I need to pay $ 30 more to shipping, and when it cames, i need to pay the import tax... and it will be 60% of total price...
so... I will wait until a friend of mine goes to EUA, so I pay only the market price of MS duo...
but I will wait a lot for that..... LOL
