Hi, this is driving me crazy. i've tried to sent the settings from the sony ecrissson website and they don't work. my phoned is an unlocked vodafone phone with a o2 sim in it. is there any settings that anyone knows of that need to be changed from the ones that SE send me.
Or can anyone who has a SE W810i on o2 pay and go run through the settings so i can enter them myself.

Many thanks.

Paddy Mack

Try these from o2 themselves.

Ok, its very simple to change these settings, follow this, please note ALL referrences to O2, please use the letter and not the number:

Menu -> Settings -> Connectivity -> Data Comm. -> Data Accounts -> New Account -> GPRS Data
Name: O2 Wap Gprs
APN: payandgo.o2.co.uk
Username: payandgo
Password: password
Select Save

Menu -> Settings -> Connectivity -> Internet Settings -> Internet Profiles -> New profile
Name: O2 Wap Gprs
Connect Using: O2 Wap Gprs
Select Save

Menu -> Settings -> Connectivity -> Internet Settings -> Internet Profiles -> O2 Wap Gprs -> More -> Settings
Use Proxy: Yes
Proxy Address: 193.133.200.195
Port Number: 8080
Username: payandgo
Password: password
Select Save

Menu -> Settings -> Connectivity -> Internet Settings -> Internet Profiles -> O2 Wap Gprs -> More -> Advanced -> Change Homepage
Name: O2 Active
Address: http://wap.o2.co.uk
Select Save

Menu -> Settings -> Connectivity -> Internet Settings -> Internet Profiles -> O2 Wap Gprs -> Select

TRY AND CONNECT TO THE INTERNET

If it does not work, please turn off your phone and leave it for 1 minute. Switch it back on and try again.

If it still does not work, please check the settings again, re-enter passwords again, check you use the letter "O" not the number, check the proxy address has been entered correctly.

If these settings do not work, then there is no way you are able to connect to the O2 Wap as this is all the O2 customer support can do for you.
