Well just today i thought of updating my K750i. I fired up SE Update Service software and it gave me an error "Flash Version installed is Incompatible, goto www.macromedia.com".

I thought maybe the Update Service version is old so i went and downloaded the new version fron SE's website. But it still gives me the same darn error.

I hope someone can help me with this. Flash work properly on my system.

go to www.macromedia.com, download and install the latest flash plugin for Internet Explorer

I did that. I even downloaded the standalone version and installed it but it doesnt work. There is no problem with IE and Flash.

I had the same problem after I tried uninstalling and reinstalling flash to try and fix my phone after SEUS killed it.

I downloaded and installed this:

http://fpdownload.macromedia.[....]tall_flash_player_active_x.msi

And it sorted it.

then search for flash uninstaller at google and macromedia.com site
uninstall player, install it again

Yes thats the standalone installer and thats what i have installed on my computer.
I even uninstalled Macromedia Flash Player 8 and checked Update Service and it still said Incompatible version. lol.

I tried the flash uninstaller didnt help.

Hmm, i installed flash 8 and Update Service on fresh install of windows and it works there just fine. how come it doesnt work on my comp?

Been round the houses with this one...tried everything..same old incompatible flash ... total pain in the butt...anyone been successful with this?

Got it working...remove all flash stuff...remove updater...run registry mechanic or something like that...reboot...install flash and updater...should work now...
