> w810i info camera shutter sounds

Hi everyone, I'm not amazing with phones so I could do with a little help. I'm seriously considering getting a w810i, but just before I get one I could do with a little bit of help because I'm quite confused, I have a few questions which I'd like answered if possible:
1) If I bought the w810i on Orange and put the phone in silent mode as so then the camera did not make a noise when taking a photo, does anyone think that if I unlocked the phone and slapped my old 02 simcard in that then even in silent mode the shutter sound would still occur, because I am fairly confident that on orange in silent the shutter sound will not occur but if I slapped an 02 simcard in would the shutter sound occur in silent mode?
2) If however the camera did make a noise when taking a photo, is the only way to fix iy by updating the software?
I would really appreciate some help from anyone so if anyone could give me some help I'd be grateful.

sure bout that mate because I've heard that loads of people cant get the shutter sound off on various networks?

whether shutter sound will sound is determined by the firmware, not by the network. so NO
