Why not n80? N70 is a good fone, but its screen resolution and keypad is disappointing imo. If u arent in a hurry, wait for p9 then, compare it on your own with other models and decide then. This message was posted from a Nokia

The two can't be compared, although both are smartphones the P990 beats the N70 by several lengths. Despite what I just said I'm still getting the N70 in a couple of weeks once my network receives new stock.

N70, N80, N90, N (insert your favorite # here) or whatever! They are all plain old S60 "Smart Phones."

The touch screen is not just one pro to put under the P-series list, it's a whole different lever of interaction! Not forgetting the jog-dial, of course.

BTW, what's with all the "de" and vowel deficiency?

Comes down to do you need wifi. Other than that the nokia n70 has stable firmware. It has cheap memory cards available compared to whatever the p990 will ship with. It is running series 60 second edition so it is backwards compatible with hundreds of applications. Replacement housing is cheap. Has no touch screen that might need replacing no stylus you can lose. thanx guys for your suggestions but for me the n70 is now out of the picture after i found the 02 xda trion yesterday.
Now all im waiting to see which one - the P990 r the Trion is released first.
The one which is out first will be my next smartphone.
