> R380e IR help urgent

dear friends
I have buy yesterday an hold-but new in is box- Ericsson R380
Having also the T68i I tryed to send by IR from T68i to R380 some phonebook names and always nothing is hapening . Like if the IR is not working althought I open it and the screen show that the IR is working.
Could it be the IR transmission rate ? Or others setting of the IR that I don't understand completely !
Please help

try with another phone with IR.... it's the easiest way to test if the
IR is not working on your two phones...

I have tried to see if in my PC with an MCA-620 infrared that I have the 380 is working and it is working-it is making noise.
today with my old R520 that I tried again it dosn't work again ???

strange.... really strange... you can get R380 -> MCA-620 to work... but not R380 -> R520 ?
well... then it shouldn't be anythin wrong with the IR communication in your R380... unless it's a bit loose on the inside...

baud 115200, none , bit 1 , length 8 , control CTS/RTS
I don't know many of those settings but could this help you understand !

you can try to set it at a lower speed... like 9600 baud....
