k500i has much brigther screen, not really sure if games and other application of k500i will work w/ k300 but 1 thing sure you can share themes w/ k300

K500 has a larger TFT screen, and I stress the TFT part as TFT is an active matrix matrix LCD technology giving the screen a brighter and less washed out appearance and faster response times.
