Bookmark topic
hi to all
i want to be able to remove the text limit as suggested in another thread. i have a few questions that id love anyone whos done this before to answer if possible.
just how easy is it and what software is required?
once done, can the firmware still be updated using SEUS?
if yes, will any update overwrite the hack, causing problems?
my phone is currently unlocked but not debranded - should this be done first, and which is the better service to use - davinci or totalmultiserver. or should i use any other software (se tool, semc tool, sonics etc).
any advice/hints/tips would be greatly appreciated!
cheers
dan

If you flash your firmware using something else than SEUS, you need to set the correct CDA to be able to reflash with it again...
In any case, IMHO it's not worth the case... suppose the limit is of 100 MSGs, then you can either save them as templates in the phone, or, more conveniently, download them all using a tool like MyPhoneExplorer to the computer.
But, further on, I don't even care about saving SMS... I just delete them all and don't give a sh*t about them!
