After a surprising amount of mucking about, I've worked out the correct resolution to save your contact pictures at on the W900 in order to have them take up the maximum amount of space in the contact-picture box whenever it happens to pop up during calls or messages.
The resolution you want is 206x225. Pretty wierd to have an odd size for a resolution, but there you are.
Any picture with a roughly 1:1.09 aspect ratio (or 0.92:1 depending on your point of view) should do the job as it gets resized. (e.g. 588x640 will work, the bigger the image, the longer it takes for the phone to rescale.)
Probably of no interest to anyone but me, but what the heck

I would love to know this detail for the K750/W800!
So often the image is delayed in loading, no doubt because it's the wrong aspect ratio. Anyone have any thoughts?
