> W800 V's K750

I was burgled last week and i had my w800i stolen (6 weeks old on contract) i dont think my house insurance will pay out because they say i did not own the phone so how can they pay out for something that i did not own!!
Anyway i cannot afford a new w800 so i was looking at the k750i's. I used the w800 as a mp3 player with a 2gig card in it for work.Are the k750's as good and can i fit a 2 gig card into it and also have mp3's as ringtones.
Any comments on the differences will be gratefully read.

K750 is exactly the same as W800 with different firmware and face plates....
You can change the firmware on the K750 to W800 if you want
You can change how the K750 looks to how W800 looks but I don't know why would you

2gb card works fine in k750. Imo w8 keypad and joy are better at usage

I would take it up with your insurance. They should pay out something even if you have to pay something. Of course you owned the phone. I had a phone on contract which the joystick broke off and they replaced it.
Ring them back, I would.

Thanks all for the info.I have been in touch with my service provider and they state that i do own the phone from day one so i will be talking to the insurance company again.

If u prefer w8 design, then go for d750, its actually the 'cheaper version' of w8.

If you have some savings by the time of the K800's release, that will surely be the BEST (successor of the K750) . . . Good Luck! Be careful next time . . try to 'insure' your celfone if deemed necessary . . .
