For some reason I am having problems backing up my P910i with the Suite which is included. It states the phone as being Not Connected, when it clearly is, and for this to change I have to restart my whole computer.

And then, when it views it as connected, the Backup continuously fails, leaving me no option but removing the phone and pulling out the battery to get it back to normal.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I forgot to mention that the backup then fails because when it restarts, it can no longer find the connection.

There are one or two threads on that. Use the search.
Try disabling your virus checker and firewall.

I'm not a P910i user,l use a P800.Tell me, have done a back up succesfully before or is it your first back up?To begin with.
