> Need A Laptop

Hi Peeps,
I'm looking for a laptop, all I need from it is:
* A really fast processor
* Lots of Space, for pictures, files, vids etc
* A LOT of RAM, I have like 5-6 windows open at once from time to time, and need to be able to switch between them all, nice a quickly.
* Quite compact, light etc.
Bascially a need a laptop, that will hold alot and is very fast.
I am not bothered about fancy graphics etc etc.
Just want a fast, powerful machine which gets straight to the point.
Also need WI-FI, this is a must.
Would like a reliable brand.
And the main point, as cheap as possible!!

Although your current laptop has a faster processor the mac will most probably run alot faster.

yep miss C is right a my mac runs faster then my old 1.8ghz pc which even had more ram, and theres also the bonus it runs mac os

Definately msn messenger and microsoft office! They run with no problems at all and you can always you the built in ichat and import you contacts over if you didnt want to use msn.
I am pretty sure microsoft have stopped developing internet explorer for the mac now, you may still be able to download it from somewere. But safari works just fine and you can always use firefox or opera if you dont like safari.

yeh runs most of that I think, although it has to be mac versions. If you end up buying it I will leave on a ton of software like microsoft office 2004 and final cut pro etc all of whch add up to a fair sum I believe.
