I don't really mind what a country does.
People tend to think different countries fall under the same ideology and rights as other countries.
Let them evolve themselves and let them sort out their own issues.

@amnesia: The question is why don't China's rulers put their autocratic measures to the vote? They won't because China is not a democracy and allowing free speech is counter-revolutionary. I find it ironic that the West actually doesn't care about democracy in China because the status quo is profitable to multinationals and capiltalists who use China as a sweatshop.
So yeah, I say let them open up the floodgates of information, sex, porn, music and all sorts of filth and let the Chinese people decide for themselves.
