i have a sony ericson W800i with vodaphone pay as you go and i cant get onto the internet or download picture messages i have recieved. i downloaded WAP and MMS settings but they dont work and i dont know what i have to do. i have my picture message internet on PAYT MMS and my internet connection profile as PAYT WAP

Have you checked what software version you're running on the phone? I have the same problem on my d750i to w800i conversion as it's running R1K001 software which is not O2 accredited. You'll need to get R1A008 software on the phone in order to make use of the MMS and GPRS functions on the phone.
Ask in any local phone shop about flashing your phone to the new version(not the mainstream ones as they don't offer the service) - alternatively get yourself a USB Cruiser Cable and goto the DaVinci website to do it on your own......
