Wow, it's been a while since I've been on this forum. I used to visit here a lot when I had a Sony Ericsson z600.

I upgraded and jumped the SE ship to get a Samsung D500. I did love the SE z600 by the way but felt it was time for a change, hence the Samsung D500.

I've been really happy with my Samsung for the last 13 months but a few days ago the screen froze. It was like a split screen of the current screen and previous screen. After switching it off then back on again, all I got was a white screen. I did this twice more but nothing. So, I left it off for a while. I tried again to switch it on thinking I may have to put my sim in my son's Nokia 3310 but I dropped it! Eek! Never mind as I switched it on and it worked so either the drop jolted it awake or it has recovered itself.

Anyway, I'm a bit wary of it so I'm considering and upgrade and narrowed it down to the models mentioned in the subject line.

Being familiar with Samsung now, the D600 sounds good. I haven't had a Nokia since my 6610 (pre SE z600). I've been around the net reading reviews and read good and bad for both models, so I'm pretty much undecided.

So, if you had to convince me of a model which would it be and why?

Thanks for your help.

Doesn't matter - I ended up getting a Samsung E900 quite by accident. I'd settled upon the D600 but was then offered an E900 at a much cheaper price. After reading about it, I decided to go for that instead.

No regrets. It's a lovely phone.

Thanks for reading.
