To listen to Radio whenever I select Radio from Menu, it shows a message "Please insert the handsfree".

I frequently listen to FM Radio... So every time I need to insert handsfree to use RADIO. The worst situation is while travelling. I dont like carrying handsfree.

So friends, is there any trick by which we can switch on the radio without inserting handsfree???

There probably isn't a trick. The hands free cable acts as the aerial. So, even if you could find a way not to use the cable the reception would probably be pretty bad. After all, the reception with the cable can be a bit questionable at times.

I did see a while back on esato about able 2 use the radio without having a hands-free kit plugged in to make it work. It think it was something to do with a staple inserted on the bottom of the connector holes and it makes it work.

I'll try to find it for you.

Your welcomed. You can also try to goggle your query and see what result that gives you.

Remember every mobile connector/fast port will be different as well.
