I can't connect my t68i to my pc... the icon of infrared activity appears and disappears immediately every 30 sec or so when i try to connect it .. i used different software , reinstalled the software but nothing happens. plz help !

Win XP should automatically detect a phone with active IR eye ... At least this is what happened in my case (T39m and Toshiba Satellite laptop running Windows XP HE).

u shudnt need ne specifi sw as xp handles ir excellently as suggested above

just ensure ur ir port is enabled on a com port (u can do this via control panel or in bios) and when u put ur t68i in range windows will say 'another computer has been found : t68i'

then use the xp program 2 send files to and from t68i

fyi im using t68i with dell latitiude cpx

I had this problem as well, what i did was i turned down the IR speed to 115.2k and it worked It's something to do with the fasttransfer IRDA or something which comes from Taiwan
