I first charged fully my SE W550i, then removed from charging after seeing indicator "Fully charged"

then I inserted SIM card and when I switch on. I get only white display on screen. Nothing else. I tried atleast 10 times, removing sim card and inserting a different sim card. But nothing worked.

Guys what may be the problem??? please help!

when you say you first charged, do you mean you just got the phone? ie. the first time you (or anyone) has started it up..

I have Nokia 6630 also, and i was using that from long time. Just wanted to listen mp3 on SE w550i so i inserted sim. Its used phone. It was working perfect when i used last time and kept it safe.

WHY IT IS SHOWING ONLY WHITE DISPLAY AND NOTHING ELSE.

Well the 'white screen of death' as they call it is quite a common problem on W550s. If you can, try and update the firmware or if you can't, send it to a service centre.

before you send it, try taking the battery out for about an hour or so and put it back in. happened to me, did that and its ok now.
