Guys, having just heard that the 20Gb PS3 won't include a HDMI port, does this mean that it won't be able to output HD images?
If this is te case, then quite frankly i'm appauled at what Sony is doing, that means for £100 more than an XBOX360 you won't get HD pictures???
Somebody please clear this up for me.

Bottom line is that they prob don't plan on including this because they don't have to... When the ps3 is released people will still flock to the shops and buy it and they will ALL think that its the greatest thing since microwave warmed underwear!

Its just like the Ps2. Give me ONE good reason why it doesn't have 4 game pad ports! ONE!

i have the answer scorchio..... its because they are developed to help couples stick together... if they had say 3 or 4 ports, this would mean the intergration of eitheer another person (threesome) or it would mean a possible swinging session..... The PS2 is a couples console, if you want more ...... im stopping this, its utterly pointless
I dont know, its a good question tho, does anyone know teh real answer? (i think in all honesty its just another way to make even more money - so that people go out and buy teh extras.......

well you could look at it like that or you could say its actually saving money (for the customer). if they put 4 ports, the console would be more expensive, but people like me and i bet most other people rarely play 2 player games let alone 4 player games! so why should i have to pay for what the minority want? if u want 4 ports buy the multitap.

i cant imagine 2 extra usb ports would increase teh price by much at all mate
and i also cant imagine sony trying to save us money

well no probably not but it'd cost somethin.
hell no sony would never intentionally save us money but in a roundabout way they have. they put 2 in so you have to buy the multitap (making them more money) but if you dont need/want the multitap then you dont buy it, saving you money!
as they say, if you want more you have to pay more!
