Right,
this is a question no one seems to be able to answer. so i thought id pose it to all you!
swearing on tv, you can broadcast it so you can hear it, but you cant broadcadst it so you can read it, IE If i have the subtitles on during big bro you can hear people swear but the subtitles have like w*****s on it.
why is that? surely text is no more offensive than sound?

iv noticed that the 'watershed' seems to have been brought forward alor quite recently. swearing and bad language is much more common i think at earlier hours, anybody else noticed this? Seems to be much more leenient overall tbh! not that im complaining

im one of those shallow people who finds swearing quite amusing hehe
