> W900 problem transferring files to hone

My wife has just recently got the SE W900 phone and last night decided we would put some music and themes etc on the phone.
So here's what happens.......
We plug the phone in via the USB connection to the PC and the PC recognizes the phone and displays that the hardware is installed and ready to use.
In phone mode i then select 'File Manager' and locate the relevant folders on the phone and then drag and drop the files i want transferred.
The files transfer across and completes ok, but when i look on the phone for the music and other stuff i have transferred it is not there?
So i test it out by sending the same files to my W810 to make sure the files (mp3's) are actually compatible and it works fine on my phone (which they do).
Ok so i then transfer my jpegs from the W810 to desktop then plug the W900 in and transfer them to that phone. Again they transfer ok but when browsing the phone they are not there?
I have tried all the usuall tricks, turning the phone on and off, double checked the file types going across are compatible files, making sure they are going to the right folders and tried sending to both phone and memory card!
No Good.
Anyone have any ideas on what maybe wrong?
N.B.
I have also tried blutoothing files across and get the same, they deliver to the phone but not visible or usable? Both bluetoothing from my mobile phone and from my pc which has the usb bluetooth dongle using bluesoleil.

and you actually see the files being transferred one by one? (near the bottom of the soliel window...)
Is the phone branded?

yes i do see them transferring both on the handset and blue soleil show the progree bar go to 100%.

Have found a work around now anyway.
pain the arse but i put my memory card in her phone and move files from memory card to phone and it works then.
would be nice to not have to do this though.
