I've bougth a second-hand mobile-phone a few weeks ago, its a K750i. Bus when I insterted my sim, it says "no access to network".

when I open the personalize menu (
What can I do to make it work?
I've tried another simcard already, but it doesn't work eather. I updated the firmwate to, but that didn't solve my problem.

It sounds I'm afraid that this phone is blocked/blacklisted. If a phone's reported lost or stolen it gets blacklisted, which means the phone can't make or recieve calls or texts, basically the phone is only useful for spares I'm afraid!

Either that, or it's got a signal problem. Best way to try this is to go somewhere near or next to a transmitter and see if it picks any kind of signal up. If it doesn't, it's either blacklisted or has a software problem. Where did you get the phone from?

seems that the radio apart is dead. do hope i am wrong, cos to repair it costs really much. it happens mostly within seconds. let it check in a service to be sure! This message was posted from a Nokia

I'd try contacting the seller or the network provider, and giving the provider the imei number and check if it's been blacklisted, I have a feeling it's blocked

Nothing to be honest, though if you put the phone up for sale on Ebay or somewhere like that you should recoup about two thirds of your money, people will buy your phone for spares or people abroad will use it as it will only be barred in this country.

First thing I'd try is contacting the person you bought the phone off, there may be a proper reason why it was blacklisted and it could be sorted out, chances are though is they sold a blacklisted phone knowingly
