As title,
im getting slighty annoyed now, my exchange went live well over a month ago and i can sign up with pipex as new user and get 8mb yet as an exisitibg user i can change to 8mb.
WHY NOT? and HOW LONG HAVE I GOT TO WAIT? IM thinking about moving to Orange Broadband at this rate!
EDIT: Now i have the answer to my original question, im looking to change ISP, can anyone reccomend a good ISP, must be ISDN, must support upto 8mb and must have unlimited downloads.
seperate question, Are there any ISPs that support residential use with a less than 50:1 contention ratio?
cheers

its annoying to say the least,
im happy to even pay the full price and not the intro price to new customers..
so tempted to cancel and start again but i dont want to be without my net for a week or so.
would kill me.
looks liike im gonna have to patient or see how long it takes to move ISP if i get a MAC code.

I joined pipex 2 years ago in August on 1/2mb they supposedly upgraded me to 2mb but i am getting a downstreem of under 1mb when i do a speedtest but on my router it states around the 2mb mark wtf?
Pipex are no help at all, i was wondering am i allowed to cancel at anytime now seen as i have been with them over 12 months or do i have to wait untill October.

Right well that is me leaving then, how do you go about moving do you need to get the equivalent of a pac/puk code or whatever it is called, lol. Cannot be without my net for more than a few days.
It is a difficult choice so many different providers.

Fireflyuk not heard of them before let me take a little look. Just want the highest speed, uncapped at cheapest price don't really want to wait though is too much hassle.
Would you not get discount for orange broadband at all?
