I got my N80 delivered today. One of it's main uses will be as an MP3 player.
I have installed the sync software supplied and transferred some MP3s across.
However, the music player wont always see my MP3s. It searches and finds, say, the first 4 files, then when I add more, it doesnt find them.
I've tried transferring MP3s onto the internal memory with the same result.
It's not my files that are at fault because sometimes it sees them, sometimes it doesnt.
All the files transferred can be seen and played in the file manager, just not in the music player.
Is there a way to manually search for music files on the phone?
Can anyone help?
ta.

If you open the music player then click on the music library icon (second from bottom) then options - update music library then your new tracks should appear. Seems a bit extreme but I suppose with the freedom to store tracks in many different folders then the phone needs some help to find them.

about the mp3 saving on phone memory first,i thought this issue was with older symbians.not being able to save something on the card is stupid, what if a friend wants to send you a very big file, like some trance mix? you run out of internal memory
