what would you all do if you sold an item.
was guaranteed to be paid on the 20th.
And then on the 21st, being told that you'd be paid on the 22nd.
And then recieving a pm asking for their money back (from what they've paid) and they're sending it back because they weren't able to sell it?
edit: this person has paid 200 out of 310 so far.
I was supportive all the way and I'm panicing.
I can't handle this...

If your in doubt that you won't get the rest of the money mate then tell him to send the Mac back but you'll give him the money back minus £50 for postage and/or wasting time. Or say that if payment's late he'll have to pay more.
But I don't think you'll lose out completely, he's trusted enough to be able to send the Mac without full payment, so obviously it'll get sorted one way or another. Although I know times an issue for you as your're going away, but there's not much you can do if you decide to wait, just take his word for it I guess and wait till the 22nd

id tell them to stop nice about and send the bloody money before you report them to the police for breaching the sales of goods act and stealing merchandice and using faluse pretences...
its not about the macmini you sold is it? I believe it can easily be sold just maybe not as much as it was bought for

the person said that the box was battered.
I swear on my dead grandmother's grave that it was perfect.
I put it in bubble pack and the pack into a box. I even asked the teller to put a fragile sticker (apparantly he just wrote Fragile on it).
But even then, the person said it was fine..
quote:
"nps man, I dont mind"
I even felt bad an offered a discount but he rejected and said no it's fine.
Here are photos of the mini right before it went into the box.

the boxign battered would hardly effect the final sale price would it... If it was missing the box that would be another matter.
As a mini mac owner myself I know that if the ac was in the original box with origianl packaging there is no way it could have gotten superficial damage, its protected by styrofoam and held tightly

@kk, indeed time is a major issue. But it's also money. If some have seen in the original mac thread. I don't have any money after buying my plane ticket (I wont have any for a while).
I'm prepared to give 'him' 50 pounds off to settle this. (that'll make me at a great loss)

I really dont see why you should give £50 off you delievered as stated and it arrived worked and does the job etc, hes just cant make a profit on it and evidently cant take it, rather petty I think

I hitnk if he is trusted may be you should give him the benifit of doubt and a few extra days to get the money settled.... if he is trusted only... may he is in a bad situation and did not mean doing this...
