M600

and finally... P990

edit: you're all welcome for the links but I thought we'd be discussing the content of the white papers since we've been waiting so long...

That's great! Finally something new to do with the P990. Just started reading and already noticed something interesting: P990a with GSM 850 MHz! Any chance for this to be released at the same time as P990i?

...edit: Well, now that I've looked more carefully, a P990a version is never mentioned again, so maybe it was just there by mistake. Who knows?...

The P990 white paper is dated May 06 and there are places where the informaiton is not complete (e.g. see Opera cache spec) so it looks like there will be an updated version.

Hi Chriswg52, I saw GSM/GPRS 1900. Isn't this used in the US?

adnhk1, yes, 1900 is used in US. That's what I will be using here if there is no P990a. It's just that most carriers here (like T-Mobile, which I have) also have an 850 band to give more rural coverage. So it would just be nice to have both, but since I don't use 850 that much, it isn't necessary...which is why I will get whatever P990 there is!

OIC, so 1900Mhz should be useful in cities while 850Mhz is more for rural areas. Thanks for the info
