Does anyone know the specs for the best video format supported by M600i?

Are there any good encoders for converting to this format (I'm quite happy using mencoder if anyone has a good commandline)?

check the specs in page 71 of the white paper linked to in this thread

I think they are fairly similar to most recent phones

I actually played around with 3gp exports for the first time today. I've been producing a promo vid for my company, and I decided it'd be nice to have a scaled-down version on my memory stick.

3gp can be horrid... my first export was with a very low video bitrate... 64kbps I believe. My second export was at 1024kbps, and how lovely it looks. ~5 mins with decent mono audio turned out to be about 30mb. Not too shabby. But for some reason, at the same points in the video, the player always acts like the video has ended. I have to scroll to a point after the interruption and then I'm good to go (until the next point... which isn't equidistant from the first).

Haven't played with the MP4 encoding yet.
