I have tried searching to resolve the problem I have experienced, but after 2 hours or reading through posts I am no further forward, and frankly its doing my head in now. :`(

I used the sonyericsson website to download the latest update for my k750i and all was going well until about 25% through the update the cat knocked the phone off the desk dislodging both the cable and the battery.

I have tried to update it again several times, but receive a message to indicate that no update is available.

Also the phone is dead and will not switch on.

I have seen references to performing a master reset, but can find no information on the procedure - will this help??

Also I have seen reference to performing recovery mode, but can find no option for this on the ericsson website.

I would appreciate any pointers.

OK found info on reset. Obviously that will not be off use as the handset is dead.

Would still appreciate some advice on the way forward.
