"it was sposed to be a genuine battery"
1/ Is there a holographic picture with the text "Ericsson" at the backside of the battery?
2/ Comes the text "Optimized charging" forward when you charge it?

If not: the battery is copy!
Else: I have no idea

firmware problem? anyway the battery indicator is not precise u can just ignore it, i always check the battery level with FMA much better than the indicator

FMA is a program created to manage your phone, i forgot the link but u can always do a search in the forum for it. best part is that it actually shows you the battery hour.....more accurate than SE's phone software

get a new battery... the circuit in the battery that identifies it as a original battery is faulty... not very often this happen, but I have seen it before...

if it works, besides the slide info, then no need to replace it. Not that big of a deal. But if it says optimized chargning when charging, then the phone recognizes it, doesnt it?
