> EDGE Network monitoring program for GC89

Hello,
Just purchased a GC89 for the laptop and was wondering if anyone knows of a program or method of determining whether it has connected to an EDGE network or just a GPRS one. The dealer was saying that when using a phone you could tell when it had connected to EDGE and when it had not. I would like to know if I have connected to one as well. I must say that I have not been impressed by the speeds I have received so far and without knowing whether I was connected to EDGE network is making it a little difficult to decide if I am going to keep this device or look for another.
