This only started happening in the last 5 mins but the camera keeps opening up as if you pulled the shutter back. i dont know why its doing this.

do i need a firmware up grade or a phone flash because i havent as yet done that but ive been meaning too for about 8 months now!

cheers

@BobaFett: you look like u know a lot of cam probs. Here's one for you:

Yesterday i was taking pics and suddenly the cell is in standby. I said ok, ill try again, when i tried again it returned to standby mode. I restarted the fone but i while later it started to do the same thing. What do u think is the problem?

Thanks.-

thx for the flowers, but i am not a big expert, turn on/off is the first thing to try at bugs. anyway, it sounds me like a fw bug 8 hopefully not hw ). let it flash with the same fw ( or the new one, if it is ), lets see what happens. if u have warranty, let it check by se service, here are some hotline nrs:

unfirtunately domenican republic isnt listed, ask your operator where to turn.

It sounds to me like it's a short or some moisture in the switch that detects if the shutter door is open or closed, and not a software issue.
