I am not sure if this has already been covered so, if it has, my apologies (I did try to search). Does anyone know if there is an onscreen dialler for the M600i so that phone calls can be made simply by tappng the touchscreen rather than using the keys of the phone? This would be similar to the onscreen dialler of the SE P910 in flip off mode or like Phone Plus Dialler for imate phones. I think it would be very useful so that a totally one handed operation of making calls is possible.

no, there is no standard on screen dialling pad.
I was looking for one myself the other day.
I'm not really sure what benefit there is having the digits on screen rather than pressing the buttons though?

Cheers for that Masseur. The keys do seem a tad small especially when walking. Large numbered squares which can be pressed on with a thumb in order to make calls more easily seems very appealing to me! Let's see - maybe one day a developer will come up with something.

You can just press the number keys from the idle/menu screen to dial a number. No point to having in screen keys IMO.

you do still have the speed contacts on screen like in the p series, i.e. with icons (or pictures) for 9 contacts which you can just dial by pressing the screen
but thats not really what you wanted

My understanding from using the phone (unless there is something I am completely missing!) is that if I want to call a contact say PETER then I have to first click on the Contacts icon, then P then E etc and the list narrows down to what I want, then click on Call when the contact is highlighted. An on-screen dialler integrated with Contacts with larger numbers and letters where a thumb click on P then E etc would give a narrowed down list of contacts with each click on screen until the contact is shown, then a click on that contact to call the number would be great!
