So it's still unclear to me if this issue has been resolved - is the R1CA fw still glitchy? I have the R1AA fw currently, but I would definitely upgrade to R1CA if people agree that it produces better photos.

Definitely R1CA021-the final K750 F/W IMHO-is the best one ever..I just like it. If you don't, try to use FAR plugin at your own risk. There's also a sort of Hybrid Camera Driver somewhere here..

You can download the latest F/W from the SEUS II update service.
Otherwise if you plan to do K750i -> W800i conversions, buy a credit online from the Davinci Team.
As for the R1N035, this is not the latest firmware. I believe its the R1CA or something.
