i had the same problem i got the phone last year and was looking into problems that the phone may suffer from due to peoples actions and i read about this problem and was happy it didnt happen to me but my phone was in the computer and guess what it crashed and i got the wsod (white screen of death) like loads of other people i was gutted i tried to flash it on my computer but i didnt want to mash it up even more so i went to carphone warehouse and they sent it to the sony ericsson centre JUST MAKE SURE YOU HAVE WARRANTY
i got a brand new phone

Congrats Dude! Know what? WSOD (nice take, off BSOD) I have had to live with now even (sometimes) on P910 or maybe its to do with high capacity MSDPro & all apps, music files.. But the W550 nor the Z200 (my friends fone i used) have expandable mem. And I swear how much one miss the Warranty went every cpl of minutes you stare at a blank or white display- recv calls not knowing whoz it is, recv txts & generally getting frustrated at not being able to get what you ought to!
