hi,

as i have posted before, i won a treo 650 a number of weeks ago - i was rather worried that it would turn into a scam, but just a few days ago i was asked to confirm my address and have now been told that the person who sent me the email ' I will send it to you the next week' quoted from email - so i should get it soon

ok then - what i would like to know as i will hopefully recieve the phone in the next week or so (:D) - is how much is it like using a sony ericsson phone (my phone atm is a v600i) and how much is it like using a Palm Zire (bottom of the range pda - its other name is the m150 ) - i'm rather annoyed that i won't be able to purchase a wi-fi card for the device, and i am not willing to spend £90 on a clip-on wi-fi adapter either. i know that there used to be an unofficial driver for the old firmware, but it apparently does not work with the newer treo firmware now.

hope there are other treo users, as i don't want to be alone on esato! - i would rather a p910i or even a pre-realeased p990i or even an m600i/w950i if possible - but i won this phone...so i'm gonna use it

also, i take it just because its a smart-phone, doesn't mean that i cannot use normal palm os apps on it, does it?

thanks everyone,
