OK, i know that this has been discussed before, and i finally decided on the tomtom software, BUT i can't seem to find the tomtom mobile software anymore. it seems killed off. so, i would like to post this then:

what software for p910 will act like tomtom navigator? if there is none, then which one comes the closest? i ask because i have a bluetooth gps receiver with only my p910 to hook up to, and at the time, there's nothing i can do but pair it and drain battery power.

thanks.

I think Route66 comes closest, but Wayfinder is the cheapest.

However you may be able to puchase TomTom Mobile 5 from a retailer - I think it's still available, just not from the TomTom online shop.

I've tried all three and agree that TomTom seems the most polished, their experience with small touchscreen devices shine through.

Wayfinder is good and cheap, but uses GPRS data, so the cost can go up - but in exchange you get the most up.to.date maps.

Haven't used Route66 too much, but it seems closer to TomTom than Wayfinder.

cheers
Peter
